Morristown Property Damage
May 17, 2024

On April 20, 2024 at approximately 1:16 AM, an unidentified white female was observed standing in the area of 23 South St. in Morristown. The suspect kicked the lower section of the left glass door in the area of 23 South St. causing significant damage to the door. The suspect briefly departed, returned, and began to kick the right door at approximately 1:18 AM and continued to kick the door for a few minutes. The repeated kicks caused damage and cracks to the lower portion of the right glass door, which were clearly visible on the surveillance footage. 
 

 



Morris Plains Robbery

The Morris Plains Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the individuals responsible for a robbery that occurred on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 7:14 PM. The above suspects entered the Sephora store located within the Kohls Department store located at 1711 Route 10 East and concealed almost $1,700 worth of merchandise. While leaving the store they were confronted by store employees. The suspect wearing a black hat and jacket brandished a box-cutter and quickly exited the store. Both suspects entered the above vehicle, described as a black Chevrolet Impala. The suspects also committed shoplifting offenses at the Kohls in Newton and Roxbury, totaling over $5,500.
 

 



Roxbury Abandoned Dogs

The Roxbury Township Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the owner of two (2) pit bulls that were found abandoned at Port Morris Park.  On Sunday, October 29, 2023, the two pictured dogs were located by residents, who contacted the police department and Roxbury Township Animal Control.  The two (2) dogs, both females, were kept together in a large black metal cage.  The top of the cage was covered with a red blanket and the cage itself, was secured and held together with zip ties and a rachet strap.

The Denville Township Police Department is attempting to identify the driver of the vehicle below.  On 9/11/23, the vehicle was operated by an unknown male who stole a Stihl Demolition Saw from a property on Diamond Spring Road.  The vehicle was last seen on Diamond Spring Road heading towards Pocono Road on 9/11/23 at approximately 11:30 a.m.

MCSO Motor Vehicle Burglary

The Morris County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Section is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the individuals responsible for a motor vehicle burglary in which multiple credit cards were removed from the victim’s purse. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Loantaka Brook Reservation, located in Chatham Township, NJ on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, between the hours of 4:40 PM and 6:40 PM.

The victim’s credit cards were used to purchase gift cards and electronics at BJ’s Wholesale Club located at 1601 US-22, Watchung, NJ 07069 and Target located at 1515 US-22, Watchung, NJ 07069.

The Montville Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the individuals involved in a burglary.  On Friday, January 6, 2023, between the hours of 1:00 AM to 2:00 AM, the FSS Armory located at 36 Rt. 46 Pine Brook, NJ was burglarized.  The suspects managed to steal several firearms.

Morris Township Assault and Robbery
January 10, 2023

The Morris Township Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying individuals involved in an assault and robbery where the suspects stole $2,000.00.  On Saturday, August 20, 2022, at about 8:30pm, the below unknown actor assaulted the victim with other assailants.  The Morris Township Police Department was dispatched to the rear parking lot of 108 Ridgedale Avenue for a robbery. The victim was walking on the rear path of Evergreen Cemetery, heading in the direction of Garden Street, when a group of men assaulted him.

Morris Plains Grandparent's Scam
October 28, 2022

The Morris Plains Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the individual responsible for a grandparent’s scam where the suspect received $9,850 cash from the victim and displayed a firearm.  On Friday, October 21st, 2022, at about 5:15pm, the below unknown subject called the victim pretending to be a New York Prosecutor and advised her that her grandson was in a car accident with a pregnant woman and needed $9,850 cash for bail money. The suspect advised the victim to meet him at Morris Plains Municipal Building with the cash and is believed to have followed her, as he gave directions over the phone several times when the victim made wrong turns. The suspect changed the location at the last minute and met the victim in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot (401 Speedwell Ave, Morris Plains) where he took the money and displayed a firearm that he was wearing on the inside of his jacket.      

 



The Morris County Prosecutor's Office wanted Tyson McCoy

Tyson McCoy is wanted by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, Narcotics Task Force, for numerous drug related offenses, including 1st degree Possession with Intent/Distribution of narcotics. Tyson McCoy is a 41-year-old male, 6’1’’ tall, and approximately 180 pounds. He has a barbed wire tattoo on his forehead and multiple other tattoos.  McCoy goes by the nickname “Nitty Gritz”.    

 

Tyson McCoy is the subject of an active arrest warrant and known to frequent the Morristown and Dover areas.
